Default melting clear clusters

Hello I have an xr2i and have had a big problem with my clear rear clusters, they melt around the stop and tail light then it blows. i was changing them every week ive now swapped back to the original red clusters but would really like my clear ones back. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. I would take them back to a shop but they were already on the car when i bought it so have no box or reciept.
Thanx Mandy

Don't sit with your foot on the brake - use the handbrake
