I know its not a ford but do any of you guys know why a warning light and buzzer sounded on my passat this morning? I was driving along fine this morning and after about 5 minuites the red circle warning light with the ! in it ( the one that ligths up to tell you the handbrake is on ) and the buzzer sounded but after about 20 seconds it stoped so of Course I kept going.

I pulled in for a paper and when I got back into the car 5 mins later same thing!

The thing is the car is still driving perfect and there dosn't seem to be any thing wrong.

If anyone knows anything it would be great , just waiting for the VW dealer garage to open so I can ring them.

oil level or something like that, i had an old santana that did the very same thing when the oil was low

 

Yep deffo the oil level ,mine does it when its low if you go around corners fast

Just been to the garage and it was the brake fluid level that was low.
Bloody car has buzzers and warning lights for every fucking thing , even
when the washer bottle is low.
