Default Strange problem/good garages

Hi everybody,

Picked up my first cossie a couple of months ago - after looking for around 8 months. Firstly, i would like to know which cosworth specialists people rate in the nottingham/midlands area....

I also have a strange problem... Serviced the car with new oil, filter, uprated leads and ford platinum plugs (gapped to around 0.73). The car has been well looked after but had a slight misfire on tickover where the reves dropped slightly and the exhaust sucked back. This has got worse and when driving if you ease of the accelerator or hold it at, say, 50 mph in 4th it holds back every 10-15 seconds - but if you accelearate at any kind of speed, there is no missfire. (stage 1 cossie) It also misfires if you, very gently increase revs and hold but tap the accelerator a bit harder (not much) it has no miss...

Can anyone enlighten me or had similar problems... I would really appreciate some help!!!!

Cheers

Has the idle co and crank sync been set as well mate?

Or have service items just been bolted on?
