Default TURBO TROUBLE

I have oil in turbo to intercooler pipe turbo is a t34 and has no play in shaft.
I think the oil seal is gone or could it b another problem ?

when it first comes on boost (18 psi) i get a cloud of smoke but then its ok, untill i potter about and then floor it again

And who is the best place 4 are rebuild and at wot cost?

Try Danny@RadDesings... I never used him but he seems to know a lot about turbos...

When my seals went didnt get no smoke coming on boost, it was on overrun after id give it a big un. Universal Turbos did mine seemed a good lot to deal with, had my turbo back in 48 hours as well. Cost £360 i think but did have a 360 degree thrust fitted aswell, i would think your looking at half this for just seals.

A little oil in the bottom pipe isn't un-common.

I think nearly every turbo'd car ive had has had oil in the boost pipes and never smoked

Cheers sorted now cost me £280 inc vat for rebuild of T34
