Default oil pump fitting

Could anyone please help, I have started to put my 2wd cosworth bottom end back together, and when I went to fit oilpump I have no gasket in the kit to fit between pump and block, I cannot remember how original pump was fitted as was a few months ago, can anyone help, I have looked at old pump and can see no trace of gasket or seal on the face. I presume something should be used but am unsure what

Thanks
Darren
