Whats the little take of vacum on the side of the compressor

its not vacuum ,its a tapping that supplies boost pressure from the compressor housing to drive the wastegate actuator through the amal valve.you will only have vacuum on the inlet manifold side of the throttle butterfly when it is closed or there abouts

So how does it work then.
Their is only one vacum pipe on the wastegate...........

you need to run a pipe from the compressor housing on the turbo to the actuator... use either an amal valve or a bleed valve to control the boost
