How do you relieve the tension on the belt?

the one that drives the water pump and alternator ona a 4x4 cossie?

the multi 'v' belt just a 17mm spanner on the tensioner wheel, amkes it turn concentrily clockwise and gives it enough free length to drop it off - simple design that never needs ajustment

As above,the tensioner wheel is spring loaded,will need a spanner on it to fit the new belt too m8
