Default Running an engine in...

this has probably been covered many times before but what are your tips and tricks?

I was planning on not making the engine pull from low revs so not as much stress on the engine and changing around 3Krpm

then changing the oil after 600 miles.

im running in the big ends and piston rings.

best to run it for about 1000 miles mate.

use a little boost as poss and never load the engine fully.

apart from that drive the car as you would.

limit revs to about 4k

use a lesser quality mineral oil too then change to the fully synth stuff

cheers for that, i was planning on doing a 1000 but changing the oil at 600? or isnt a extra change needed?

Forgot to say (as i did in my other post) its a N/A v6, so i dont have to worry about running on boost
