Default running in......

anyone who's put new engine (cos 2wd) in would advise if its required to get some sort of mapping or have it set up again or is it ok to run in without doing this. would it cause any probs. obviously, after it's run in i'm getting it proper live mapped then. but its just while im running it in. and i know not to cane it now... cheers for any free advice from cossie specialists..

i ran mine in without getting it mapped.

we upped the fuel pressure just to cope with the new mods but since you wont be revving it hard or putting it under alot of load things will be cool.

yeah should be fine really, a tuner wouldn't be able to do a full proper set up anyway til it's ran in a bit.

don't go too easy on it though, you need the rings to bed in and if you go too easy they won't and you have a smoky engine again in no time
