1995 Ford Escort 1.8 si cabrio. Passenger electric window not working. Motor makes a buzzing sound. What do I replace, window mechanism or motor? Is this a common problem with these cars? Can I use similar from a 3 door car or is cabrio special?

 

it sounds like the cable that the motor pulls is snapped. should be able to use one from a 3 dr, easier if you can take the motor, cable and runner in one piece from the other car
