I bought a nice looking 1.9 Stage 3 back in May 2006 and while they are always very polite and friendly I think my living in Madrid does me no favours.
In less than 3 years it started using a lot of oil but since we use the car for running around locally I didn't do more than talk to them about it.
It now uses 7+litres of oil per 10,000kms and it has only done 43,000kms/27,000miles.
It looks as if I will change it for a Dunnell Zetec or go for a Collins Turbo.
By the way I don't cane cars - I've had a Sierra Cosworth for 17 years and the 350bhp Collins engine installed 9 years ago is a dream which has given me lots of fun and zero hassle.
