Right this problem has been here for a while now, start up the car and it runs fine for about 30 seconds then runs on 3 cylinders..

We have changed :

Brandnew head (old one went pourus)
New dizzy
new plugs
new leads
head gasket etc

We are running out of ideas now can anybody shead some light ?

Buggered if i know mate . what about the injectors ????

Pop the one out thats not firing and see what the spray pattern is like . if she runs ok for the first 30 seconds its probably using the fuel vapour from the cold start valve then leaning off.

Get a spare from a scrappy . Dont quote me but think they are the same part no as for a XR3i

thats all i can think of .

Cheers mate will deffo give it ago i wasnt sure if they sprayed out of inlet so will give it ago

Injectors..I have had to change a few on various cars over the years....

They are only about Ł70 a set....

Give this bloke a ring...he deals with Bosch stuff and will sort you out a good deal..

You can pick out the injectors and push the measuring plate by hand and see if all four spray nice and well.
