will a 1.6/2.0 zetec starter motor fit on a 1.8 zectec engine?

 

yup, as will a cvh one.

 

depends mate, mondeos and escorts came woth two different types of gearboxm, one with the starter at the front ala cvh etc, and the other gearbox had the starter at the back of the engine!

im not 100%, but im pretty sure you cant mix and match....
