Hi all.
I've been looking for a how 2 fitting guide . for fitting a silvertop zetec into a sportka . its the wirering thats going to be the hard bit for me . would like to keep the std ford ECU for the time being.
So if any one could link me to any guides. As meny as can be found would be nice as i have a few weeks till i can make a start .

i dont about in the sportka

but in a escort

you have to change these parts from 2.0 to 1.8

flywheel and clutch
oilpump pickup pipe and sump
waterpump
alternator bracket to accomodate the power steering pump
and alternator (as mondeo is at rear of engine)

you use the mondeo ecu as its prepats
on of these codes you have to use though

DESK DEWY or DEEP

you then change the wiring to suit the 2.0 ecu

i would have thought that this would have been the same in the ford ka

you may have to look at the engine mounts though just see if they will match up
