frst bottom end help!!!

Default frst bottom end help!!!

hi guys so the other day i thought my head gasket went so i took off the head and notised a crack in the bottom end doh!havin gone this far and bein a bit of a newbie i thought right un bolt from the gearbox and lift the bottom end out and await a replacement BUT i dont seem to have enuff ROOM to get the bottom end away from the gearbox to lift it out.is this possable or do i need to lift them out together then seperate them?

make sure u have disconected the clutch cable.....u will not get the engine out if u dont!!....i pulled my engine out in about 20mins
