mk6 fiesta RWD
Hi All.
finally started my project ,mk6 fiesta RWD. all stripped out and in the process of cleaning down everything underneath before welding can begin.
i plan to use Neutrarust 661 on some rusty bits. not many i may add tho. and the fully paint underneath when work is completed. i intend to use stone chip to fully cover underneath but open to suggestions regarding long life protection for the underside.
cheers all

To be fair it is only re quoting what I have read about in Dave Walkers articles where he says they are not suited to car engines. To me a carb is so out of date compared to modern injection.

I beg to differ on this one. Properly set up carbs can work as well as injection. . I realise injection is the modern version of carbs. But price out weights it for me. And after fitting bike carbs to many different engine in past, I know they can perform.

Yeah no worries, after all he sells an injection management system... he says carbs are a series of running rich with a series of flat spots.

Same as Caddy says, there can be no argument for carbs over injection nor even one to say they’re on par. But if you’re happy to use them fair enough but they’re budget for a reason.
