Sorry to post on this old thread but the same car has appeared in Northern Ireland and i'm about to buy it,


Anyone know of this car, have any info?, i see the comments above from 2013 relating to it being a police vehicle - I don't want to spend Ł16k without in knowledge!!, I can get the VIN if need be to identify any history??

16k for 1 that's had the strut tops welded up!
K34 rsw used to be a white saph police car,possibly getting the reg numbers mixed up.
There's a good thread on here about police car cosworths,you would gave to search for it though.

Ł16k is a lot of money to have doubts with, the body kit looks straight but the strut tops would put me well off and the rust 10 years ago I wonder how bad it is now.

I'd leave it personally mate doesn't sound nor look like a 65k mile car to me.

From pics what I see
Out of shape Front bumper,common
Baggy drivers lower bolster,easy fix but shouldn't be that bad on a low miles car.
Chrome sill covers,possibly a modification or the originals were removed when the shuts were painted.
Wing to slam panel sealer,never seen it as thick as that before!!
Strut tops been filled up.
Foglight lenses look corroded.
Bubbly rear arch looks like it's been fixed already and its coming back.
Carpet on pass side seriously Sun bleached.
Not where I'd put my 16k.

IMO looks like too much money for the condition it's in not a bad car but needs to be cheaper

Yeah,has good points too,door cards not shrunk,pass seat looks good,looks quite standard apart from turbo Heatshield,cam cover colour,exhaust,original unused spare I think,straight sideskirts,original wheels.
But due to condition and previous historical mot history it's overpriced quite a bit,but I'm sure someone will pay that for it.

If u have any doubts walk away mate. For ÂŁ16k there's a lot nicer ones out there!

From what you've said and the pictures it sounds like too many little things. Not the worst I've seen but I'm sure you'll find better for that money.

Mine was in better condition than that and it wasn't anywhere near 16k when i sold it a couple of months back.
I'd be leaving that where it is personally

Think I've seen that car at a few shows before? Was ok from what I remember, but I don't think I'd pay 16K for it.

id want to know what was under the paint on those strut tops, poss accident damage, for 9k I'd not care but 16 is top money
