It would need a bit of time and effort but it could be done, just that I like the look of mine shiny with the alloy milled off surfaces.

yours is a lot darker than mine! I think it’s too much time and effort to polish my daughter stops me doing anything these days I was lucky to get this done!

Found the picture at last, had this cover a while ago, ended up having it dipped to keep as a spare.
