I haven't been in a stroker either but everything I have ever read about them seems an improvement unless you want to push the really high rev boundaries or set a world record for a 2.0 yb.
Mark Shead has always accurately explained what each mod does, Often conservatively and when he tells me about his strokers I can tell they are something pretty special in the torque aspect and the benefits to making the turbo spin up.....I cannot wait to try mine.

Your just like me mate,to many projects and not enough time or spare cash to finish them all lol
I do now, but at the time it seemed expensive, it was about 8-9 year ago I bet now, I still have it's quaife diff though.
Exactly that mate, 60-70 hour weeks and I've a wife & 2 kids to be with too, in order to get some serious progress made on the cars, I took 2 days off work and locked myself in the garage with a mate of mine (no funny business) and achieved a lot

Andy I remember when the car was for sale for 11k and I was very very tempted, but wanted a 4wd .then when it came up for sale as a rolling trimmed she'll for 2.5k I viewed it as the price of a paint job so jumped on it.them mark sold me the engine for 2.5k so I bought that to keep matching numbers and keep the history correct. Then finally bought the zoo beam for 700 .
So 5700 pound I thought was a good price for the car due to its condition.
Work and family life get in the way of cars ,but a balance is needed mate
