That lorry and trailer look awesome. I have been taking all mine apart and back in the boxes ready for me to move to wales. At least I will be busy when I get settled.

Dave
I would hate having to do that lol
Another hour or so speant on the truck, and yeah it is huge Dave 24" long and 10" wide.
Have all the wheels & tyres now, next thing I'm waiting on is some pneumatic tube and fittings from USA, hope I don't have to wait to kong.
Where can I get the plans to build the big lego yellow crane into the truck and trailer? And do I need to pay for the plans or do you know where I can get them for free?
If you seach bricklink website for "MOC's" you find plans there, they're around Ł8 iirc but tbh the lad who designed them is very talented so I don't mind paying the small fee.
My pneumatic tube arrived from USA only taken a week or so, pretty quick.
So mamaged to progress some more!
Not 100% decided on final colour I want for the truck yet? Was going to go black with another colour but still pondering...
looking good, but is the front suspension a little bit over kill?
No mate, this thing is like nothing I've ever built before, the weight of it already is shocking, when it's finished with the cab and all covering I'm dreading to think how heavy it'll be, the suspension is needed.
Also be towing the MASSIVE trailer and I'm guessing that'll be even heavier.

Mate it's another level, nothing like I've done or had before and I'vs got nearly every truck related technic set there is.
I'm very excited by it and can't wait for it to be done but it's gona take a while as getting all pieces neccessary isn't easy. It's not for the faint hearted lol
Here is a great video of the truck I'm building, it's only been built by half a dozen or so people even though instructions are available to buy on the web, just because it is so big!
View the whole video and you'll see the trailer I'm also going to make to go with it.
How long did it take from ordering the parts before they arrived and what was the full cost? I was watching a review on the merc atros a guy had build the model b but he said it was too heavy at the front especially when the cab is tilted forward and the trail was flimsy? Just wondered what your thoughts are
Well. It was hard graft! But I did it... well still some to do but waiting on some more parts like the pneumatic pumps for suspension and also some stuff for remoye control but I'm nearly there.
I put my own spin on it as well to make it my own, hope you all like what I've done.
All the chrome is my own work as you can't buy chrome Lego Technic Pieces.
And here's how it looks now! I've not even poste up on my Facebook brick page yet so your all privileged lol
Makes all other Technic I've built look inferior now lol
where do you buy all the parts for this? i would love to build one
cheers
andy
I've been doing Lego for nearly two hears now and I've collected a lot of iits and amounted a lot of spare also lots of spares given to me also, a lot from my mate Wozza too which helped loads.
I honestly couldn't guess how much this would be to make from scratch but you wouldn't have much change from a couple of grand or more tbh Lego isn't cheap.

Yeh the bed above the seays folds down, I'll have to take a pic.
Air suspension arrived today, so fitted it wilst chilling in the garden but gives you an idea of size too.
Thats awesome mate, I replied to your pm bud, honestly when it comes to technic Lego I'm like a kid in a sweet shop lol
Cool, I tried to reply to the PM but your inbox is full. Can you clear some space and let me know your address please. If you want some pics of the other models instead then let me know, I would prefer you to have something you want. I know there is a Ferrari F1 car and also the Black truck with the hiab on the back plus many others. The rest are all going on ebay.
We bought a load for my father in law when he had an accident and was stuck in the house, he built them all and displayed them and kept the boxes in his loft...years later he died of Cancer aged 84 so had a good innings, his wife now wants to clear the house a bit. The Helicopter was only ever opened and not started. The rest are built but I am going to picture them complete and then strip and pack away.
yeah photobucket have killed it, and most likely quite a few forums. People will start sticking to f* facebook now and not bother if all they are going to get from forums are dead links now.
I have noticed facebook is getting worse on trying to get people more and more sucked in and basically controlling everything. Now you can order takeout on your phone, whats next ordering an ambulance?
I've carried on working on the truck, made some modifications and got the cab fully remote comtrolled and driving pedect now with all functions working.
I've also made great progress on the trailer which is also rear wheel steer with remote servos that steer when cab steers activated by 5th wheel.
Also has pneumatic air jacks as trailer stands and ramps...
Loads to do on it tho! Last pic is my chilling in living room tonight.
