Default Which COMPS?

Im looking at purchasing some comps for my sierra sapphire and really struggling to make my mind up. Its a nouveau red so colours and designs dont quite work the same as with the greys and blacks of the other colours. Im looking at either the mo6s in anthracite grey or some th1s in silver but really unsure what look to go for cant go wrong with the mo6s but when th's are done right they look great whats you reckon?

The ones on the right look perfect on a saff with the right off set and a little wider on the rear. Soon as mines together and mot'ed I'll be selling my rondels and getting a set

They do do the th's in 17s, I would take a set of DC rs7s if I could get a set but you can't and people want crazy money for them. I'm heading towards the mo6s, the th's look great if the set ups right, is you can't get the car sat right they look pants...though if you can they look great! Also not sure how they would look on a nouveau.

Totally agree Paul, 17" max, I have got standard wheels on mine and it drives like a dream in comparison.

I recall when we first drove the 500 that you had... and I skipped it sideways on that roundabout.

Anything over 16" doesn't seem to suit the handling at all in my experience, unless it is for track smooth roads only??

I'd have standard wheels on mine if I could they do look the best but if your after power it's no possible as the brakes are rubbish

Yes you did Andy, I remember it well.Agreed 16" is a good all round compromise. Standard look good but no room for brakes upgrades, 17" are not to bad.

Thanks. Lee.

If you really want to stick with std wheels there is as AP brake kit available that fits from reyland. Expensive though and only has 295mm discs. Although i realise its not just about disc diameter

Good choice! Spoked alloys suit the Saff really well imo. I am still happy with my old school OZ Cronos 17 inch wheels after 16 years since I got them!

The spare is exactly the same as well, found it on German E-bay.

Wich tyre size are you using? I also want to buy these wheels but I'm afraid 215 width tyres are to small and 235 tyres will scratch.

I've got 205 front but are stretched so going 215 fronts. I'm running 215/40/17 Yokohama ad08r on the rear, but they come up more like 225's.
