Simply Ford is my "Local" show as I live just 10 minutes away from Beaulieu Motor Museum.Looking forward to going this Sunday 30th April. Always lots of old and new Fords on display.
Pretty quiet outside today, be different next week!
We are heading down south on Saturday and pulling the cossie out of my parents garage (where it has been since October) so fingers crossed it fires up and makes it to the show...
Was gonna go today as only live just down the road but glad I didn't as it pissed it down! Had to head to Birmingham this afternoon anyway for last week of training for my new job

Took mine today, as usual there were loads of Fords new and old. Only a few Saffs though which suprised me. One thing that I didnt get was some guys with Focus RS cars who were on their way in revving the shit out of them to make them crackle and bang.
As I was going in there was a guy in a new Mustang next to me which had Canadian number plates on it and it was a left hooker. His drivers window was down and so was mine so I had a chat with him. Hows this for enthusiasm, he had it shipped from Canada to come to Simply Ford as He had heard it was a good show!!! That has to be a record for miles covered to go to a Ford show!!!
He laughed when I told him I only live 10 minutes from Beaulieu.
Mine was the only Saff on the central tarmac car park.
Car looked great!
i struggled again with the layout, some of the field display was just like a car park making us park close nose to tail.
Some of the best cars were right out the way whilst some rotters were taking up space in the main areas etc.
Agreed. I reckon if we'd parked by the main gate where those first pics were taken, we'd have been closer to the main arena than where we actually got parked up.

I have been with my Saff since Simply Ford started and I think this year it was the hardest to get in and find a place to park up.There must be a better way to get the cars in surely?
There seemed more cars than other years, but lots of newer models and Saffs were very thin on the ground.
Getting in was a pain.
Personally I don't care about car being dirty, I took myne and it hadn't been washed since October, but some had spent ages detailing their cars only to have to wind round a dusty gravel car park to get in.
