nope, these 1.8 TDCI ford focus (mk2) engine are solid ! Yes I know any engine if out of oil and ran will /can cause catastrophic damage, but I turned this off literally the second it came on, literally !
same happened last year on a few occasions oil light come on, turned off right away and no damage !

Most normal people would get out if they saw flames, are you seriously suggesting you would wait inside to be killed?

well obviously the car engine would have to be running as it leaks when engine is running, the car does not drive itself so obviously I'd be behind the wheel !!!!!!!

You could just throw yourself out, preferably at 80mph.

As a mechanic and mot tester I would kind of hope it wouldn't happen to my car. If it did I would sell all my £30k worth off tools and go work stacking shelves

Two questions :
1: Fastlife why are you still here when in a thread you started in the Muppet room you said 'I am planning to terminate my account, I have realized I don't like being in the company of such people'.
Please in the kindest possible way find something else to occupy your time with cos just about everyone on here is fed up with the endless threads and your complete inability to listen to the advice that is given.

2: Mods why are you none of you doing anything about this cos this forum is being taken over by fastlife who is just filling it with crap and getting on just about everyone's nerves. Surely enough is enough.

Did I upset him?
as I'm not unblocking him to find out for myself.
Like I said,I don't wish you any harm but if this is what happens when you try tightening up a nut then stay away from your brakes, suspension and steering for the sake of others and their families on the road as you are a danger to yourself and others.

What scares me the most is this idiot is actually allowed to drive a car on the road which is maintained by him and is very dangerous to himself and other innocent road users.............

Now, i really cant be fucked to read any of the replies to this BUT...

How many fucking times man were you told to replace the complete pipe?

Also, why the fuck didnt you take the opportunity to set fire to the car and be done with it once and for all?

I sincerely hope that someone has nicked the car so you will never have to worry about it again and go buy your next heap.

Of course that will be a pisser if you are not insured. Whats the car reg?

Not actually the bolt this time were it was leaking last time, but from where the jubilee clips which connect the reinforced hose to the bit of remaining metal turbo pipe. very easy to access as it is on top of engine, but no matter how hard I tighten it it is still leaking all of a sudden but has nbot leaked before despite me using too clips !

I tried for 4 - 5 hours to tighten it before giving up and ringing my brother who brought me home, so now the car is Parked about 17 miles away in Warrington in an area I am unfamiliar with. I hope to go back tomorrow and try at it again, may have to get the bus up there.

any ideas on what I can do to stop the leak to get me home, or just try try with more clips ? ?
I want to get the car back home, buy the proper pipe and have it fitted properly.
NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

DO YOU EVER FUCKING LISTEN ?

Ideas ? burn the bloody car.

Well clearly if you had listened, I told you that would happen days ago.

So I guess it is one thing listening...and actually understanding, taking it in etc.

It truly is like talking to a brick wall, except the wall is clearly more intelligent.

It truly does defy belief how moronic some people can be....far beyond even that of Trump etc
