ive just been brought a van for my firs vechicle, bit strange i no but hey, ive got a sound system in the back but not too sure if its staying at the moment.

I was wondering if any of you could give me a few pointers on mods, keeping it simple.

Im thinking:
recaro seats
exhaust
alloys
lowering
Insulate and soundproof (whats best stuff to use)

Im not into all this bodywork crap so i want to keep it simple,also moneys a bit of an issue, just thinking if you have any good site with images to get stuff off or just to get an idea.

yeah i will 2nd that cossie rims look ace on mk5/6 escort vans. that was going to by my choice but money big prob just now so i have gone for 16" mondeo alloys witch i also think look good on the van.

my van is half way thro getting lowered just now just have to finish it off to moro then will try get some pics up to see whta u think and give u a few ideas mate.

as for the van mate i'd go down the mk5 rs 2000/ xr3i route i.e front bumper,bonnet,grill,sideskirts, and prob the wheels! lower it a tad,
would look good, and ideal as your on a budget.

ya can pick all these bits up for peanuts if ya patiant and keep an eye out on ebay and ya local admag

@ Aaroncast i left school a year ago and ive not long passed my drivin test and im a trainee painter and decorator so if i do jobs on the side for family friends then i dont want to get a car dirty n covered in paint n stuff, and then got ladders and stuff to go on top.

 

when they are lowrd on compswhat colour is you van put it up and ask someone to do a photoshop on itScotty get your van pics up mate

yeah 16" mondeos mate. they are standerd lighs i just tinted the orange strip red, think it looks alot beta.

van looks mint mines a right shed as soon as i chuck some cheap rims on i will post pics its just a slammed rusty blue turd on 13s lol

heres mine trial fitted some gotti 15s et20 look ok but think i need to change the tyres as the 45 profiles make them look tiny

tbh i like the van lowered but im not a fan of them wheels, not sure why it just doesnt look right

 

i think once ive lowered it some more with correct size tyres it will look alot better at the end of the day im only building the van because im bored and dont want to sink money into it just want something to bomb round in turbo beemer projects are where the money gets spent
