got a few pic's of the bumper offered up, had to try and rest one side on with my mate holding the other but you get the idea

well pleased how it looks

cut the centre bar out and the 500 scoop is longer ( full width of the cooler ) also smoothed the number plate holder lug's, will have a sticky plate

wish i had weighed everything to compare the difference with all of the carbon bit's, but it's going to be a lot lighter

will be going to phil to wrap the splitter in carbon

let me know your oppinions

cheers

Had it back for a while but it wasnt running to well, Steve spoke to Pectels and it turns out that what he used off a EEC4 escos to replace the dizzy isn't compatible with the T2 ECU so he has had the car back to sort that and set it up again

went to see phil yesterday and he was doing this

need's another gel coat and laquering, then having 4 carbon recces's bonded in and it'll be on pin's

Name: bon.jpg
Views: 44
Size: 30.6 KB

Name: bonnet.jpg
Views: 45
Size: 31.2 KB

not the best pic's as they were taken on my phone, will take better pictures next time

phil reckon's the bonnet weighs 4 kg's max! he is starting on the grill next which should weigh about 600 grams

then once thats done he will tackle the big bit's! carbon 500 spoiler upper and lower, then a full carbon tailgate which will be on pin's, not sure on final weight but i'm guessing their gonna be a bit lighter

also picked my other seat up on the weekend, on the 5th of january the car is going to my mates to have some extra sections added to the roll cage, will take pic's of that as it's getting done

cheers

Boot and spoiler ideas sound good too.

Arch trims and skirts next?

if their is any carbon next it will be the roof, that way will get rid of the sunroof, was speaking to phil about it last night, i want the carbon for looks but also to serve a purpose

want to lose as much weight as possible from the car, easiest way would be for me to stop eating

Be interested to see the carbon tailgate/whale tail - how much?

thats he's side line job, not sure on prices for them bit's yet will have to see how long it takes him he will be making a 500 lip in carbon that people will be able to fit onto a standard 3 door spoiler which i think will be a good thing for people who want a 500 spoiler but cant aford the price for a real one
