Apparently not, but I'm told you have to brace the rear of the car quite a bit, which I plan to do. Shame the Gaz's are still sat in the box, haven't had the time!!
oh? i think i might see about them aswell then

I strongly doubt Autronic, being that APT are Motec dealers

As seen earlier in the thread, I run an open wastegate vent pipe (or Screamer as some call it).

Obviously it has transpired that there may be noise issues with certain venues forthcoming, so in a mad panic I got on the phone yesterday and ordered this little lot......

.....and set about making this......

Just hope I have done enough!!

It's interchangable with a non-silenced pipe for those times when I want to go for the Subaru-style 'look at me' approach.

Oh, just a quick engine bay pic. A bit rushed though. Can't think why.

Depends on what power you want. The RJ is massive overkill for mine.

The normal Sard one in under £100 and good enough for 450bhp. Just be absolutely sure you get a genuine on though as there are plenty of fakes around.

I really don't know how you hold your foot in for that long to achieve those speeds. Takes some balls to do that

I like your new dash alot

Hope you got home ok last night?

CheeRS Cliff. I'm used to the top speed thing, though for some reason I was nervous yesterday. God knows why. Didn't do me any good having the speed available to me live in the car, makes you want to stay 'in' just that little bit longer!! If my turbo hadn't failed, who knows when I would have braked!!!

Hopefully the turbo is coming off at the weekend. Then I will post some pics for all you failure-pervs.

I'm not sure when it will be getting fixed, might not even be this year. I have to finish my bathroom off now!! <<<Beccy

BTW, the car is now on different management which we are trialling but is VERY impressive so far (active learning maps, closed loop boost etc). Also, all the gauges and boost controller etc have gone in favour of an AIM Strada Dash (which also interfaces with the new ECU). I will post pics as and when I can, but everything is kinda temporarily fitted at the moment!!

Depends on what spec level you want. The Strada as fitted to mine is around £700 from memory rising to just over £1k for the Pista (which is what Gary has), same look, but with more features, like Data Logging etc.

The software for it is uber cool.

Something to consider for the new year. What managements are they compatible with?
