hi

is there anyone on here competing in this tarmac rally? if so do you have the details of the stage locations/routes and times? are spectators allowed into any of the stages or are they not allowed because its military owned land?

any information would be most welcome.

Bob, I have been to nearly every Epynt for about the last 6 years.

This one will be run similar to last years March event with the only spectator area being in from Dixies with no access from there to Deers Leap.

The event will be based at the Castle Hotel, Llandovery where you may find out further info during the rally.

He was doing tarmac championships same time as me back in early 80's.. lived near me when I was still living with the olds..
Many a happy memory from Eppynt Ranges, except for one Boxing Day when it dumped 2 inches of snow on the ground 5 minutes before the start of New Road and everyone had slicks fitted.. fook that was an interesting day!!

it still does that now Rich, in fact for that rally in Feb the roads were covered in ice in the morning too, then I think we had a flurry of snow in the afternoon.

JP is still around yes and still as strong as ever, he has won the championship 12 times so is not contesting it this year as that could make it 13 and I guess he's not a fan of that number.
