2016 Rsoc National Day
Welcome to the 2016 Ford RS Owners Club National Day Area
Sunday 21st August 2016
This years event will once again be held at Donington Park which allows both a traditional show to mix in with noisy track action and with the in-field area back in use we have even more grassy space to play with!
The detailed plans are currently being drawn up so please check back here regularly but what we can say is that there will be a big push from everyone to ensure the local groups are well represented and this year we'd also like to see even more other visiting car clubs so we can get to see some other interesting cars, chat to their owners and share our enthusiasm.
We have a few anniversary's this year so if you have a car that qualifies and you want to be part of the anniversary display then please get in touch with your registrar, subject to final planning (and thanks to Dave Rose) we expect a parade lap to be arranged again.
The children's area will once again be provided for free from the entrance fee so your young ones will be entertained and under 16's get in free.
Following on from last years success we have continued the low £5 per car fee to park anywhere inside the venue, you just need to chose where from the options on offer - you can still park outside but cars are well out of sight.
We have also maintained the £10 per person wristbands which helped keep queues down last year but we have further simplified the process for everyone.
Vicky Butler-Henderson is not available this year however we are pleased to announce that Tiff Needell will be guest PA so you can expect some brilliant microphone work.
Paul Swifts team are booked and we are going to try something different with them this year to get you all more involved in what we are referring to as a "live action area".
Mountune and M-Sport are indicating that they may be available for the show and we have the normal concours d'elegance area as usual but this year we want to try and push the show and shine area for those who have driven up and we have some special plans again for the indoor paddock suite.
