To be fair I like seeing a bit of action but I've seen some right mad fucks down there unless I was parked in the ace cafe I wouldn't even contemplate taking the saph.

Ford Freaks is always massive and it's not a dangerous night for cars (in general)..
Old School Ford night is where the trouble comes from, although im there for everyone of them aswell
Tonight should be a lot of classics, few mk1/2 escorts having a spin, and the usual sierra gl lads going around :P
I reckon if you're there after 7 there won't be any parking close though!!

Was nowhere near as entertaining or busy as it has been previously, don't know if lots of people are away for Easter or what. Still a good laugh though!

Without being rude to the Fordfreaks crew that's why we didn't come down Steve. Santa Pod next week and then down for your night in May and you soon start to run a fuel bill up.

We have started to try and alternate Events so we still see everyone but on a 2 year cycle now

Fordfreaks is a good night and we do enjoy it

if the council gave a club old road/space/disused area/waistland then make all car drivers signe a disclaimer they could play without cloggin up the road

Was a good night, but I was hoping for more Ford hooliganism on the roundabout, not just some BMW burnouts and random non Ford hatchbacks bouncing off the limiter in 1st. Didn't see a single Ford getting properly naughty!

Still good though, always love a Ford event at the Ace

plenty of shows to see thats sort of thing, I for one am very glad the ford boys did not join in as its pathetic, and if I see a single ford at our RS Day doing it I will report them myself to police as its NOT wanted

I'm not condoning illegal activities, but just to play devil's advocate.... When at the night Ace events, it sure looks like the majority of people who come along quite enjoy watching 'a show' on the road & roundabout. There tends to be an equal (if not greater) amount of people gathered around there than inside or in the car park usually....

And burnouts and donuts tend to be met with cheering and laughing rather than any kind of objection......

http://youtu.be/4arpA53HNfU

Not condoning, just saying....

As per Ade's comments really. I'm sure there won't be a lot of action until the evening. And if you hang around that long, I hope you have a few pens and lots of paper

The met police are actually invited guests to our event so someone doing this bold as brass in front of them would have to be a right tool

As Tom said, Thanks to all who attended.
I had a walk around with the co-owner (who I'd never met before) and he was getting very upset by the amount of people who brought there own food / drink to his cafe. I can see both sides of the story so I'm not going to get involved in the polotics of it. He was ok providing the didnt consume it on site but unfortunetly some people took offence and verbally abused him so was asked to leave.
As others have pointed out, I didnt see any anti social driving by a FORD to which I thank you all for.
With one thing or another, trying to keep the peace, selling stickers and everything else that goes with the nights, I was unable to get any firm details of members, so, if you where lucky enough to be chosen to recieve a prize, kindly donated by the boys at PERFORMANCE FORD mag, or have contact details to those thosen, please PM me.
Once again, thanks to all who came, enjoyed and chilled.
We have a further 2 nights booked this year, but I'm not 100% sure we will be using them after this weekends antics. We will ofcourse keep you posted.
Thanks again
Ady

I can see his point about the food and drink, and I know you expect things to be expensive when you go out, but my mate had a 1/2lb cheese burger and it was Ł6.25

Obviously there's no excuse for the verbal abuse

Exactly the problem ram, was booked into the car park my reg was down on the list.
Turn up and the tight but not very polite security would not let me in.
I would understand if the car park was full, it wasn't.
I'd understand if I were in a banger, not the case.

Don't think I will bother wasting engine wear and petrol for this mess next time.

I will be sticking to track shows and track days from now on.

Were we at the same event? I didn't see any V6 Mondeos, gay Zetec S', Focus ST or Fiesta ST's doing anything anti-social!

Just browsing on the ace cafe website and noticed there's another "ford freaks meet" this coming Saturday at the ace?
Was the location changed or is it a goer?
