Didn't approach any of you though as you always seemed busy talking.
my 3 year old absolutley loved it. He kept shouting "woah dad look at that cossie"
Going to donnington in a couple of weeks for my second ford meet lol

Hiya what would you like to know about the sunbeam?
Engine is capable of 700bhp and revs to 10,000rpm.
As with nearly all track days we usually run reduced boost and around the 500bhp mark mainly to pro-long engine and transmission life as the car is primarily built to race, so track days are just a bit of fun. Allthough I was'nt there I'd imagine Paul spent most of the day drifting!

Thanks for the kind comments, there's more than 10 years development gone into the car and it's always evolving!
For those that might be interested the engine spec is:
Bottom end:
Motorsport block with unique windage tray, block girdle, unique oil pump, piston cooling jets and sump designed for high rpm and to fit in sunbeam engine bay. NMS designed Farndon 72mm stroke crank with longer H section con-rods, 92mm forged pistons, 7.0:1 C.R.
Top end:
NMS large ported big valve head with full race hollow solid lifter cam shafts, sodium filled inconel exhaust valves, 214N chrome plated light weight inlet valves (37mm inlets 32.5mm exhaust fitted with oversize beryllium copper seats) NMS inlet manifold designed for identical cylinder flow, modified 2wd exhaust manifold for increased flow, Garrett GTX35 turbo, Tial 44mm wastegate.
Hope thats of some interest to some of you.

The sunbeam was an absolutely fantastic car, attention to detail was immense
I was following behind him for a couple of sessions , and he was always sideways, the driver had great car control
Heres a very short video, unfortunately the battery died on the camera, it was a brilliant session

Heres some better footage from inside my car, I thoroughly enjoyed my day, and the track really suited my wee car, defo be back next year
