i know mine used to meet at 12-12:30 and then leave at 2 for redcar ,

i gaurentee even though folk know what time its on they will arrive late lol

*thought i'd pop this on to let people know the scouts will be at this meet on sunday*
I've been part of the Darlington 7th sea scouts for over a year now and its a fantastic group, all the leaders are volunteers and, according to the council, the kids all come from an under privilidged part of town. their parents try and pay as much as they can towards buying new gear, paying for camping trips etc but they can't pay for everything which is where the leaders and me come into action, we've just bought a minibus for the group to save the parents who have cars from having to ferry their kids to days out and to save the parents who don't have cars from having to get lifts etc, it also means we can take them out on more trips, camping, sailing etc, but, and this is the point of this novel i've just written, we need help to get it on the road and keep it there which is why GLENNY BOY has given me permission to shake a few buckets at the All Ford Meet @ teeside on the 15th august, so please don't be offended if a few kids come n rattle a bucket asking for change and if you can please drop a few pence in, doesn't matter how much, it all helps to get the bus going but please no copper, it takes soooooo long to count out, thank you for actually reading this far if you have, if not then you missed the best part, my lasses sister has amazing wobblers and may get them out if we reach a good amount, cheers.

 

its a good enough cause to stick some change in the bucket anyway mate, fair play to you and the volunteers



but with that kind of possibility, its a win win situation all round

it was 80 miles away but it was a top meet so didnt bother me to much. lets just hope this ones as good. if i do come down itl be in a mates mk2 this time

Ive just been told by my mam lol that there is gonna be fair ground rides on the car park where we were all gonna meet up. If we cant get on that part of the car park try to park near burger king. I dont have much luck with car meets lol.
