some of us BIRMINGHAM lads have been chating about this meet / coming down to it

 

i wish i could get the s1 finished in time but will be there anyway

 

im up for coming to this the weathers meant to be nice at the weekend.
ive never been to an ace cafe meet before can some 1 tell me where in london it is thanks.

 

its at park royal just off of north circular mate easy to find on the slip road off . www.fordfreaks.co.uk will be there

 

who else is going to this?

 

would like to go but im in leicester so a bit far on my own

 

Really want to go just don't trust parking my Cossie there it's a right fucking dump whats the best time to get there? might just take my dirty old land rover.

im leaving in bout 30min are be in the fez and my mate in his rs2000.

I went, thought it was a good night! had a good race with another fiesta... and try'd to keep up with the lovely yellow mk2 escort cossy. (No chance lol) Anyone else go?

i just got bk mate was a good laugh. i take it u was one of those mk3 racing up and down looked bloody quick.

was a good night come the end of the evening, reminded me of the ford nights at the ace cafe before they got stopped.

i thought performance ford magazine might have had a bit more of a higher profile on the night and brought a few more cars along

 

We would have done mate, but we knew the turnout was going to be big and that the car park was going to be first-come, first-served, so it didn't seem fair to take up too much space with 'our' feature cars when the evening was really about you guys and your cars!

Glad everyone enjoyed it though; Luke and I both had to cry off around 10pm due to family commitments but we really had a cracking evening and we hope everyone else did too!

 

loved the yellow mk2 that was up there givin it some beans lol!!

i went to with a load of guys from the site we took a pro photographer and will get the pics up once he has sent me them ,saw the fiesta racing up and down and urs lee boy looked as good as it went , we were down there with the original jb who also put on a show good lad !!! thought it was a good turnout cant remeber the last time i see so many saphs togethor in one place !! and the atmosphere was old skool every one was talking to everyone and made a lot of new friends just banter going around and not the normal slagging off that seems to happen these days thought it was the best night id been there in ages cant wait to see the write up in the mag !!!!!! so did anyone else go ????

i still cant get over what a good nite it was and the weather was bangin.

 

Was a great evening as I dont normally like the ace cafe as most times its tw*ts ragging around ,good turnout and even saw quite a few familiar faces ,went up in my mates FRS

 

i went and its the first time i bin in ages well good nite, lee boy i saw your car parked up and saw u go looked mint and quick.

i saw a rather large turbo, sweedish plenum then herd it go went like a rocket

 

It ran a GT30, just rebuilt fully forged, swedish plenum, some very expensive engine management. too be honest lots spent
Made 550 bhp, certainly looked like that, also on low boost for road use

Certainly had good traction with those wide tyres

 

Yeah mine was the black one with comp 6 spokes and B15 TRB on the plate.
He did know how to drive that mk2

Did use to be much better back in the days... but last night was still a good turn out


If there wasn't people driving like "TW@Ts" half the people wouldn't of even turnt up. Each to there own

 

was a top night rsdan123 what spec is your fez ? as it seemed to go very well ?
