As the title says I'm a newbie to is site. At the moment I don't currently own a ford but am in the process of getting a escort gti. My plans are either drop the engine into a fiesta mk 3 si or in to a ka. This is all just theory as yet but hoping to get it rolling in the next few weeks

 

What makes you want a escort gti engine in a fez just curious as i dont know anythin about the gti power or size? And thot it would be the rs 2000 engine would be better? Or mondeo st?

 

Hey mate reason I'm thinking gti is because my friend has 1 and selling it for scrap value. I'm just thinking of a project as been thinking about 1 for years. Actually thought about a st200 fez. It's all talk just now

Nope not got that either lol. Think I'm gonna have problems getting a good si shell tho. Not 100% sure on what I wanna do. Somebody mentioned a Ka with the gti wouldn't be to much of a problem

 

ad rather get a mk2 fez nice n light

 

Can't see a ka weighing too much either, I'm building a zetec turbo engine this now on the side but haven't got anything to put it in ( as you
do lol ) was thinking a ka or
puma, an 1800 gti engine in a ka would make for a fun wee car plus a ka would probably be easier to get hold of these days, clean mk2 fiestas are quite rare these days !
