Wonder if any of you lads know of the reg plate A17 AHF. Its on e rangerover sport now. But was on a white 2wd saff from new upto 2001. I believe it was from ayr. Got alot of reciepts from Dalblairs anyway.

Hi its andy who used to own H124 yse was my first cossie went well and the waste gate sounded amazing was just starting to rot quite badly. hows andy,the engine and gear box lives on in my one.she got a quick spin home to tipperary but i thought it would taken off us even before we left scotland the traffic cops pulled us to one side while we were waiting to board the ferry and went through the car with a fine tooth comb and after about an hour left us go so we boarded the ferry last.will post a pic later do you remember the full spec of the engine andy please thanks cossie.087.

yeh jim, its a pitty if it was'nt for the high vrt i more than likely would have saved it because she was a good one.

there's not much of it left jim the shell is pretty rotten in places.the seats,dash,door cards,carpet and trim are still there and some bits and bobs waiting for some more shelving in the garage so i can strip the rest and scrape the shell.

 

i spent a fortune on the old girl haha before i got fed up spending cash on it and bought somthing newer. it did have a good engine tho

 

thats the joys of owning a cossie jim iam still at it.

yes they are jim sprayed satin black kept my original white ones.

 

Had good times with the old car. Wish i could of kept it to do up but needed rid of it to get the evo then got rid of the evo tae get a cossie

 

yeah came close to pulling the plug on my one last year but i know i would miss it. theres just something about them.

 

ive ownd two evos and 3 cossies yes cossies are old and dated and there not as good as a evo but tae me they are better just love them

My wee ride is a 1961 ford popular 100e, affectionaly known as Gas Bag due to her registration number: GAS 648.
Currently running an 1800 blacktop Zetec, 32/36 twin choke weber, type 9 5 speed box, hydraulic clutch. Anglia 105e back axle, RS2000 diff, Capri front strutts on coilovers.
Also have a 1953 "sit-up-n-beg" Prefect and a 1966 Hillman imp.
The wee 100e is used daily and goes well, specially with the Zetec in her.
