Well few updates of late if you have not seen on here all ready, mangaed to knock my 1/4 time down to a 12.44 @127.97mph....
Video is here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNbGzX2uUgo
Still lots of room to improve just need to work out traction issue.
Im hoping also the new gearkit I have had custom made for the ST170 gear casing will aid in this aswell as the topspeed of the car.
Collected today and a big thank you to my mate Jonny for going halfway across the country to get it.
Gearing details are as follows for this -
Elite Racing transmissions - 6 speed straight cut dog kit.

Good update, I'll ve very interested to see how the gearset holds together as this is the route some of the Vauxhall owners could do with going down IMO
What power did they rate it to Luke ?

"A dog gear kit will not be a problem, as you can understand though we can only guarantee our gears, not the gearbox case, selector forks & rods etc, these may need separately up rating to cope with the additional energy a dog box creates. As a guide a plated diff would be around Ł550 and a dog kit around the Ł2,750 area for a 1 off. All prices are subject to VAT also.
We are looking to rate our FWD box to 350 ft lbs – it is being tested now so I don’t have an ultimate reading yet. You may have issues fitting it in though as the Nova engine bay is small and our box is on the large side for a transverse box. You would need min 365mm from engine block face to the chassis rails (or other limiting factor). If you did go down this route we would machine a billet bell housing to adapt directly to your engine."
