Hooorah, Im back on the topic of THE CAR rather than endless drivel from all concerned above
Well last night a good friend kindly came round to the garage and measured up the location of the B.O.V. which i purchased a few weeks ago. This was then welded to the inlet pipe will be re-fitting to the car tomorrow.

Christmas was good mate, although slighty funny when they are playing 'Jingle Bells' and you've just come out the sea after body boarding
Have a good new year as well and i'll see you when i'm back in March

Evening boys, well a long day and my ears are still ringing.
Started off with full check on the car, all levels checked and tyres inflated for the dyno.
Once the car was strapped down and hooked up to the dyno we warmed the car up to full operating temps.
After several runs and more boost added / map adjusted we were seeing some excellent figures for the boost being held.
However mapping was halted due to lack of support from the actuator. needs uprating.
Jim from JKM and Nik (who owns the 500hp 180mph Capri) took the car out for some final checks..
They came back after what seemed like an age, and reported good things! Many of which where swear words.... and grinning with some slight words of warning. BE CAREFUL!
I then took it out for a quick run and I well its insane at the current power. Not a hint of lag and with the longer reach on the throttle pedal all is controlable, if you plant it to the floor the car lights up the yoko prada tyres (didnt run with 888's today ) but back of a smidge and re-apply its instant power and grip again like a N/A car to drive. Now with essentially 400hp when you nail it, u get a slight snag on the steering wheel when the power is delivered but that its! No zig zagging like you would expect a 400hp FWD car to give. Just an almighty lunge into the seat!
Still more to be had though im told, BUT not sure how far we are going to go as its border line nuts!
Monday we will continue further, I will post up results/graphs then.
All in all a very very happy day and a huge thanks to Jim (JKM Performance) for his efforts today.

Quaife Diff
Rose jointed adjustable lower arms
Eccentric adjustable top mounts
Custom set of Gaz gold shocks.
Competition mounts so everything is pretty much solid mounted.
Slight hicup with the front anti roll bar is that its running a 1.3 still
I now have a Fiesta Rs one to fit which is almost twice as thick.
See if I notice the difference when fitted.
Good mapping also contributes a huge amount to how the power is delivered.

I was wondering if you had done anything with the steering rack, more specifically the angle of the track rods, I heard that alot of rally guys shim the ends up higher, so as the car raises up on the power, the geometry change doesn't pull the toe out of the wheels and make them wander.
I imagine a thicker front anti roll bar could make it understeer more, relative to what you have now, though you have such adjustability you could dial that out
Great car!!
