Car was awesome today mate, all the hard work payed off & putting some big power cars to shame. I did see you twice but you was busy, so left you alone.

Car was good to be honest, at first I was a little apprehensive and was taking it easy. Got a little hairy round Quarry with a 4th to 5th gear change over the rise. (3rd gear was found after the apex )

At the "Nike" additions comment, thats an equal mix of form=function (Lids were weaping around the seal).

yes its fast! lol prety quiet too until it clattered off the limiter going down the straight!!
that WAS loud lol

its fast now, but when its 2 bar + it should be stupid mate!

the chassis looked VERY stiff too.. bouncing a bit coming onto the straight

did you have problems with it?
i'm sure i seen a few of you round here with somebody making some adjustments under the car before you where on track.
it did look very well setup and very quick considering the company you where with on track

 

Yes, whilst driving up to Combe the Alternator decided to shake its bolts out. So once at Combe I had to purchase some high tensile bolts and nyloc nuts to make sure it didnt happen again.

Great day though, wicked cars out on track all day

 

i just read the WHOLE lot car looks fucking mint, i think i remember seeing it at ford fair this year liking this alot

Just like to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU to Jim and Keith from JKM for there hard work in getting the car ready for track last Saturday and Russ for Mot taxing the car at such short notice.

Well the new wheels are fitted and have seriously grown on me now, the MO wheel looked hot, but needed updating and a circuit racing wheel was duly arranged to take its place.

Here are a couple of pics of the wheels and the car as it stands at present, few changes to happen over the next few weeks with looks but these I shall keep to myself until Im happy they work.

Come on then what to people think the wheels....?

 

Not sure about the rims now they,re on the car Luke tbh... looks all TOO Dark..........

Agreed, they are dark. However it needs dark wheels as to hide the fact there so bloody small

 

What brake setup do you have behind them mate??

 

With a car that hard. it wouldnt matter if it had a set of 3 spokes on it. it would still look angry as!!

Personally i like both rims but prefered teh MOs if im honest

yeah, think you need a set of the carbon centre caps

 

They look better bigger and in anthrecite, but they work well with your car Luke. Keep 'em

i think the wheels are fine they make it look very purpose built just like the old ones, are they actually any lighter than the mo's?
