alloy wheels
what ya need is a set of needle files to take off the bur's that stick out from being kerb'd etc, some sand-paper probably some 240grit and then some 600grit to smooth things out, some of that fake metal stuff in a tube, a filler applying tool - small scraper or wide blade screwdriver, a flat edge for the edge of the rim - ruler will do, and some tlc. and time. make sure before you apply the fake metal the area is perfectly clean. otherwise you might get a chunk of your alloy fall out - ugly. dont worry if you use a bit too much fake metal stuff cos you can always take some off when its dry. be warned though its pretty hard stuff so dont just slap it on. use your flat edge to perfect the outline of the rim, go round it several times, when the wheel turns on the car youl see any discrepancy in the rim. when your happy that it looks good ( profile-wise ) give it a dust over with primer. youll see the wheel better then. then you can spray it whatever colour ya like... hope this helps
