I had a look the other day mate, its got an extra bit of metal added to the actuator arm hasnt it, i dont know why thats been done mate.

I hope to be , The engine is going back together soon (just a standard rebuild) by my mates dad and I hope to have it back for my other mate whos doing the spraying But most important is to go get some insurnce cover 
Do you know any one that does trade insurnce (looking to do some more rebuilds in the near furture) im only 22 so need to take this into considersoin (sorry spelling is shit)

Iam nearly 23 and run my own small body repair shop and ive looked into traders polices and they quoted my Ł3500 +!!!!!

1 Of my mates is 21 and got his down to Ł2000 f comp i'll have to get the number im pay Ł1300 fcomp for my landrover (V8) and my golf cab is insured by my MUM and hope to have the s1 on road with in the next 2 months aand i would like to do some more classic FORD's up with out having to piss around with swopping insurnce's Any way keep up the good work and pics coming

Lol it did take me a little while to post it off, sorry mate, you wanna see the new log book its well mad!!!
Will try to get some more pics on tomorrow, as i aint had a lot of time on it this week after my small mishap with a grinder and no googles!! Doh It FOOOOOOOking hurt so i wont be making that mistake again!!
I even got some filler in it today

Lol they did not offer me it back, might have been a vital part of the S1 and as it was a part of the rusty Rs the bit of metal hard started to go rusty to!!!!
Till how much you want for the Z tec is it a 2.0l??? Is it stright out of a Mondeo or have you had your mitts on it??? lol

My brother lost site for a bit when he did'nt both putting him welding mask on he leant by hi mistake (dont know 4 how long though) My mate is Using TradeX insurnce hes 20 1ync 2000 fully comp maybe you can get you insurnce down i've put in for a quote . Seen some Ford on ebay would make good projects just need cover

It aint really that bad to do mate, should be able to leave the dash and that in, you just have to be carefull to cut it in the right place so you dont cut through the inner piller to.

Defo want them mate, theres no way iam putting the standard ones back on after spending all that time sorting all the rust, end up crashing into the back of someone

Right few more pics of the once very rusty RS (sorry bout the sunshine, its well bright this morning)
As all the welding has been done on this rear wing its time to get some filler in it and no i have not forgotton about the bumper slide clip hole!! lol
All the welding has been done in the boot know, i thought i would make the rear end a little stiffer so knocked up a LITTLE strut brace!! lol
Nearly all the welding has been done inside now, just got to add a few capptive nuts for the rear seats, it wont be long untill all the welds are ready to be sealed up and painted.
Just roughly fitted the front panels on just to check they are all gonna fit, should have no major problems.
A little shopping at the weekend and i now have the 2.0l Zetec bottom end (cheers Till)
Another purchese for the weekend a full set of 5, all ready to be polished (cheers Ady)
And thanks very much to my mate Tufty for running me round in his van yesterday, 100+mph in a FOOOOOKING huge sprinter, proper scared, we did from mine to South Benfleet and back in just under 2 hours and thant included finding Ady`s house, chatting for a bit and having a good look at his S1, which is proper clean!!!
