just need pistons and rods to suit

the new work that has been done over the last weeks was finish rear half of the cage and front triangulation

i have also braced the cage onto the edge of the front legs to hold the sump guard as the car is very low

the front subframe sits less than 3"s from the floor

front strut brace is also welded in place

 

goona look wicked mate... cant wait to see the next installment

 

and throttle bodies could be on the cards

 

nice, this is gonna be a weapon and a half

few more updates

finally decided on paintwork and keeping with the origional flare paint ive decided to do it as below

 

shows ford racing cnc head,piper cams and verniers

standard rods and pistons

bottom end stripped

ready for uprated parts

 

few new parts that i got at ford fair

 

bought myself a new dash

was looking at stack dashes but then this came up at a good price and is perfect or what i need....can run 8 sensors so saves lots of clocks

all arp bolts on everything,cometic gaskets throughout

bought a few new bits yesterday

carbon fibre m-sport spoiler with alloy mounts
new rear quarters
carbon kevlar bonnet(no reinforcing)

its a custom cages cage

the front half of there kit was used the rear had to be custom to fit turrets

the cage has had extra tube added to the front of the car to keep the front legs where there should be and it forms part of the sump guard

one thing i will say is the cage fitting was crap i paid for a profiled cage yet most profiles where incorrect

im a pipefitter welder by trade so it allowed me to fit my own cage

 

this looks awesome, can`t wait to see it finished

 

TOTALLY INSANE I Love it

 

the quality really is unbelievable the sizes of the pistons and length of dampers are massive

will require

new hubs

new arms

new rear beam

new steering rack

more work but this mod will definatly be worth it!
