has any1 got any tips on welding floor pans in a mk3 escort as all 4 need doin cheers

 

have done a couple

cut a grind rust out then take time cutting the plate's

i took all interior out and plated on the inside then welded the under side
to the plates then ground it down smooth so would not notice from
under the car.

done this a couple of years ago and still looks good

 

i find that the best tip is
always keep breathing ,it works for me ,oh and take your time if its
done proper first time it dont need done again .

And make sure you get someone to 'spot' for you - set fire to the underseal on mine by accident and didn't notice until i had a roaring fire against my skirt
