Ferriday engined MK2 XR2
Hello..
I thought id outline my project which is starting 2 get underway now, n hopefully by the return of the warm weather it will roll out finished.
The plan is to have a 1.8cvh from ferriday engineering, fully worked head with 285 cam with solid lifters, twin 40 dcoe's,fully lightened and balance bottom end with modified zetec pistons, janspeed competition exhaust, with an lsd to keep the power down. Mike tanski at ferriday is an absolute sound chap, everything you read about him just dbls in real life. fair play!
Suspensions spax psx adjustables, strut braces from and rear and a saftey devices cage. ma buckets will stay in, set of compomotive mos (15s) and sum hi spec billet alloy 4pots and 285mm discs. and sum wider arches to house the wheels and brakes. and a spanky carbon bonnet
Most of the stuff has been bought already and ready to go in once the cars fully garaged and tidied up etc.. all the uva nigly bits like gauages etc and shiney bits,re-spray etc all come too but that stands to reason.
If anyone has any advice, problems they have encoutered, recomendations,or any input criticism (constructive) please feel free. As this is a single handed project and im sure 2 bump into problems.
Cheerz guyes.. photos im sure will follow!
