right a little update, finally had some good weather today, so finished work at 5.30 and got straight onto doing abit of work on the old girl
first job was to pump all the 'orrifices' with a large quantity of waxoil-the shells mint and its staying that way
Have cleaned up and retaped the wiring loom, fitted all new wiring clips and fitted the loom, fitted coil, ecu's, bonnet prop etc. Got it to the point really where by i cant do anymore until all my parts come back from powder coaters thats should hopefully be in the next few days, then i can get the engine and box in
Also picked up my gearbox from the refurbers today, so that just needs alick of paint
Big update soon i promise

Another update guys and gals(jimmy saville style voice )
Have got all my parts back from powder coaters(apart from the brake cross linkage bar, off to pick that up 2moro...) and went and got my first batch of nuts bolts, washers etc from ford this morning
Have assembled the brake regulators into the bracket, painted 2 of the brake lines in the original green, and fitted them. Also fitted the steering rack back in.
Had the driveshafts powder coated, then built them up with new gaiters
Fitted my radtec intercooler
Powdercoated gearbox crossmember complete with new fittings
crossmember and driveshafts fitted which means.......
Drumroll please.............
Its back on its wheels
also popped the front bumper back on
getting there slowly, ordered all my brake linkage nuts and bushes today, so will get that on on wednesday, then its time to get the engine and gearbox in
Hope you like the update
more soon....
Danny

cheers guys for your comments
have done a few little bits today, i cant do anymore now untill i get paid on the 31st
Need another new gearbox mount(ford ordered 1 not 2 ) gearbox to engine sandwich plate, and going to bight the bullet and buy a new sump too. So next update will finally be of engine and box etc all going in
Got alot of parts waiting to go in, but cant becuase they'l be in the way for getting engine and box in
Anyway, a litle update on 2day.
powdercoated engine mount assembled along with new rubber mount and washers/nuts.
new and refurbed bits for servo linkage
All assembled and in the car
my sexy gearbox fitted with all its powder coated parts and new nuts/washers/bolts.
and also got meself a free EFI flywheel Seeing as my block has the CPS module, thought i would fit an EFI flywheel now, so that when i convert to EFI in the future, i wont have to take the engine or box out.
next update at the begining of next month
cheers

As some of you may have seen in another thread ive rebuilt my throttle body, came out quite well i think
Anyway, got paid so ordered some more new bits-that sump wasnt cheap.......

sitting on the drive patiently
manky old sump and bolts
new one looking much better and hopefully sealig better too!!!
everything assembled ready to go in, including new AP clutch and EFI flywheel
finally, something back in the hole
a few more bits in such as dizzy wiper motor, heater, master cylinder etc. Things like the dizzy heat shield and wiper motor back plate will be replaced once the cars back on the road
another batch back from powder coaters, lifting eye, alternator arm, inlet manifold(s), thermostat housing and petrol filter clamp
and where im up to now, slowly bolting bits in and wiring stuff up
Turbo to go in next
