More progress on the loom , now the abs loom , cosworth engine loom , cosworth fan loom and startermotor power cables all pass through the same grommet. The aim being to keep all the cosworth looms to pass through one grommet and the focus looms to pass through the other one. simple and seperate )

(better than boring pictures of wires lol) I Found a better pic of the vented bonnet - its growing on me!

Fuel tank is back with the new sender , the company who makes these make F1 senders , so im sure itll be more than up to the job.

So i cracked on with re fitting the tank , making a service port in the boot floor for the sender (pictures to follow)

And finished the rest of the fuel system.

Not much left to do now.......

hi simon do you think its a good idea to move it so far away ,on rally cars i think they tend to put right near throttle so it can sense changes sooner

thanks mark

hi mate ,it was just a thought i have also seen intercooler set ups with very long pipes etc and that must create lag ,and with sensors etc i would have thught the quicker they can sense a change the better the engine will be ,its like having two hose pipes one 5 foot long and one 10 foot long turn both on at the same time which will see water first, the short one thats how i would look at intercooler setups etc the shorter the run the quicker the boost ,i might be wrong but it seems logical

thanks mark

If you get in touch with Geoff on here, he'll be able to point you in the right direction for a correct background for your new water temp gauge. He sorted Kerry's standard Focus RS out and had it done in pink

And do tell us more about the jack incident
