Did you make sure you could get the wheelie bin in there or was it more luck than judgement?

Looks good mate, you've done alright tidying up the cables too

I take it that other 2-way worked OK once you hooked it up to the second set of lights?

thats a nice piece of work

With the floors nicely painted and the same with the walls the light will travel loads better and it will be a class place to keep your cars

Spiky - where did you get your door from? Have you got a name or no?

I've had 4 quotes so far for similar, but Ł1000+ for similar size.

Build is looking good - I have a similar sized garage, painted up and a million lights, and it makes Cossie maintenance bearable!

Cheers
Simon

I the roof single skin sheet? If so your gonna have big condensation problems.

Best to get the same sheets again and make a built up roof with rockwool insulation in it.

looking good... get a laser beam breaker on that roller shutter though...

picture the scene, you nice sparkly new Elise is half a foot OUT the garage the door is up and you are tinkering with your shiney toy... you crouch down and in the process the button on the roller remote, which is in your pocket, gets pressed, though you dont notice.... the WHOLE weight of that door is the transfered onto the back of your car...... #

And Im sure you know how heavy they are lol...

DO IT

well, it's been a loooooooooong time since i updated this,

mainly cos there's been nothing to update with, but last week

paul and I took the roof off and put 8*4 ply boards down then polythene then put the roof back on.

that took about 8hrs

then brother in law came and put the scratch coat on the outside

nice 'n' dry inside now, floor paint been ordered and hopefully be going down next week

and look, no gap under the window

here are some pics i just took
