We built ours 22ft x 11 1/2ft.
Thought it would be ample size,
But by the time we got the fridge in, the dryer, the shelving and racking its like a garden shed

crikey the footings on mine had to be 4 foot deep due to building regs guy.

How much is it going to cost once it is all done and What type of roof are you going for. I have had a flat fibreglass one and looks good but it does make some noises when contracting or expanding due to weather. I also ended up having 9x3 joists and mine is about 5.5metres wide.

regards muppet.

bad news dude,

my builder just come around saying he wants to sort out the last bit for the base , i.e. edge the front and smack the base wiht a whacker.

what about if i ring you when we are done????

i reckon he';s gonna be here for about 2hrs from at 10am.

might see if i can borrow his van and cut one section off the window and put them all in the back

but will have to check that tomorrow

Whats your overall budget for it. Mine is costing Ł6.5k and is not that far away form being completed but I havn't been doing the labouring hence why it is costing a bit more. The only thing I will be doing is the electrics and water.

regards muppet.

i dont have no limit, but with my builder doing everything for free, i'm saving quite a bit ,

and the lighting cost next to nothing along with other electrical goodies.(cheers St3v3 C )

it's working out quite cheap,

plus i did all the digging alone

you could of dug a nice pit in there too.

for the base you should just get a few yards of ballast and some dust. rent a mixer if u dont have one and knock it out ur self.

suprisingly cheap really and could be done if u work hard in one saturday.
