Havent had much time over the last few weeks to do much but this is what i have had chance to do.

I have rubbed both fan mounts down and bolted them together + paint.

Cleaned,painted and mounted the tank.

It did have a shitty plastic pipe for the fuel filler neck so i made a new one.

Also started on the loom.

Some bits off good old ebay have arrived.

This cost me Ł10.49.

After some cleaning.

Some new gauges.

I wanted to make my own oil breather but the size i wanted wasnt gonna fit around the red fuel pipes so i got some of these.

And the oil breather ( just tacked together ).

Let me know what you guys think????

Coming on nicely! Why not sell both seats on ebay and buy some proper carbon side mounted MSA specced bad boys? All the work that's been done, why not treat ya self?

Looks great but wouldnt have used the standard tank in the front like that. Proximity to battery in the event on a front ender makes me wince.

Not the best place for the tank in the world i know, but im limited as to where i can put it. ( dont wanna put it right next to the engine )

S1 JOHN and RED16

Ive already welded the tank and didnt take anymore pic's of it, but there's not much to see its empty!!!

Been working on the charge cooler over the weekend (4x4 cossie intercooler with a jacket around it). I will take some pic's of it and post them up soon.

Any reason your not using EFi? The loom and components would fit alot better and reduce the amount of clutter.

Looks great, keep up the good work.

Cheers for the comments guys

Little Joe AUTOSOL metal polish.

essexrsturbo Cheers Done anything to the S1 yet??

Jano_OddKidd Money and parts is why!!!

Havent had time to do much to the motor due to the fact my brother has just got a S1 non custom and im helping him with that ( I will put up another post in time ).
But this is what i have had some time to do.....

Almost fitted the charge cooler and the pump ( ran the pipes from the front rad to the tank )
Also can just see the oil cooler fitted.

Another shot with the oil cooler.
Just about see the power cables (bottom left of the pic )

You can just see the dash in this one ( More to come on that later )

Started to make up a box to mount the battery cut-off switch. (more to come on that too )

Been messing about with front bummpers aswell.

Standard 90spec.

Or cut out 90spec.

Also got hold of a new (ish) engine

Should be good for around 250 BHP with the right turbo

But that will be for stage 2 of the rebuild.

    Thats it for now......
