JUST A QUICK 1, IM GONA DROP A TURBO LUMP INTO A CABBY, THE ONLY BIT THE GETS ME IS THE WIRING,THE ENGINE WIRING WHERE DOES IT GO TO? ALL BEHIND THE DASH?

 

wireing is easy mate, have 2 change the whole loom from front of car 2 back so that means dash etc out......

BAD NEWS!

fired car up 2day & oil light stayed on......... (fuked oil pump)
then it would only runn on 2 cylinders (bent valve???) not a plug etc...

so ive fuked it off for £500!

yes sold it! brought a mk4 escort van 2 piss about with instead

iv done the efi conversion on my own cabby using the fiesta turbo engine so didnt have to change the loom, but im doing one on my mrs cabby which is mfi hence the question.

my oil light was always on and the oil starting pissing out from the top of the pump,havent got round to doing it yet so do you rekon its my pump thats fooked and not just the gasket?

 

ide change pump anyway while u there 2 be safe.

 

well seeings how the silver escort didnt get fininshed 2 then end lets see how far i'll get with the van!

got £350 & this mk4 van in end for silver escort

but the van didnt have any m.o.t & was sitting high up in the tree's & had 14ich steelies on it.

but after a day in my drive its now decked on black turbo rims & has 12 months test!









its a good clean straight shell aswell

 

as if it didnt run!, van looks cooler though!

 

yer bit of a bummer but neva mind, was worth a go,
