Hi I am new to the group so go easy if I ask daft questions lol

So am trying to build a 2.3 rwd for a stockcar (very cheap budget) ive been told the rs 2000 cams are an upgrade is this true? or would I be better just bolting the complete head on will be ran on carb this is just an advise post trying to gather people's knowledge could anyone recommend what's best mods to do on the cheap don't expect massive power! I've been told to remove balance shaft and put rs2000 cams in so far

 

Duratec and RS2000 (16V? = Ford DOHC) are two totally different engines.
