Rs turbo alloy quadrant help.. getting annoyed
Hello ,
few years ago I bought a straight cut GBox for my S1 rs turbo .
it has the IB5 front casing and I was told the IB5 gate inside .
I bolted it upto to the engine and connected the standard rs turbo gear selector as per the manual.
also fitted a alloy quadrant.
I am having a nightmare getting it too work . I modified my standard clutch people with a bolt to take up slack .
It seems that the clutch cable is now too long and I can’t get the gear change to work without grinding or the pedal bottoming out on the floor.
has anyone had success with this alloy quadrant conversion because it’s doing my head in .
also , does the standard gear selector work with IB5 internal gate on the GBox ?

Struggling to get the gears. With the engine running, when i dip the clutch it grinds ..
is setting up the IB5 / straight cut box with the RS gear selector the same as normal..twist and push for reverse ( i think )
